Golden rutilated quartz tear drop earrings set with 14k yellow gold. These crystal stones formed at the same time as needle-like mineral inclusions called rutile.  The Greeks called rutilated quartz ‘hair of Aphrodite’, while the Roman’s referred to it as ‘hair of Venus’.
